One match does not a season make, and Gonzaga University head men's soccer coach Einar Thorarinsson knows there are better days ahead following a 4-0 season-opening setback Washington Friday.
It doesn't get much bigger than this as Gonzaga University opens the 2014 men's soccer season at home Friday at 5 p.m. at Luger Field against cross-state rival University of Washington.
A couple of veterans scored goals, but it appears as though Gonzaga's men's soccer line-up may be sprinkled with freshmen following Saturday's 2-0 exhibition victory over Trinity Western.
There are still some unanswered questions surrounding Gonzaga's men's soccer team, and head coach Einar Thorarinsson hopes to find some answers in Saturday's exhibition match against Trinity Western.
On July 10, 2014, as World Cup soccer reached fever pitch, Gonzaga University celebrated the official dedication of Luger Field, a first-class soccer field.
