High School: Attended Mead High where he played with older brother Nick...junior season shared Greater Spokane League regular-season title with Central Valley with 9-1 record, edging Ferris 1-0 to capture the District 8 title...beat Wenatchee in first round of Region 4A playoffs but lost to Pasco in the second round in 14-3 season...named All-GSL second team...senior season went 8-1 in GSL to tie for first with Ferris, defeating Saxons 2-1 for District 8 4A title...lost in first round of Region 4A playoffs to finish season 10-2...had five goals and three assists.

Zach Hamer's Collegiate Career

FRESHMAN (2011):  Started 9-of-19 appearances, including getting first collegiate start in season opener against Washington...collected first collegiate point with assist in 3-0 victory Seattle, setting up older brother Nick on final goal...also had assist on first goal of 3-2 home win over San Diego...scored first collegiate goal in 3-2 setback at home against Saint Mary's, his first-half goal in ninth minute giving Gonzaga a 2-0 lead....started four straight matches beginning with the home SMC match.

SOPHOMORE (2012): Appeared in 18 matches with four starts…scored a pair of goals, the first on a penalty kick at home against San Francisco to draw Bulldogs even at 1-1 in a match USF would win 2-1, the first PK of his career…second goal was an unassisted breakaway in 3-1 setback at Santa Clara…named West Coast Conference All-Academic honorable mention with 3.30 GPA in human physiology.

JUNIOR (2013): Played for North Sound Seawolves of Premier Development League (PDL)…played in 14 matches and 1,156 minutes…scored one goal and had two assists…lone goal came in second match of season to give North Sound a 1-0 lead over Victoria in a match which would end in a 2-2 tie.

Misc.: Played for River City Steelers, captaining team in 2010 as Steelers captured U 18/19 Washington State League championships, the U19 club going to the State finals...last season he co-captained the River City Steelers who captured the U18/19 Washington State League champions, and the U19 club advancing to the State finals...older brother Zach a member of the Bulldogs.
