High School: Attended Heinrich-Heine Gymnasium in Kaiserslautern, Germany...from ages 14-19 lived at a soccer boarding school in Kaierslautern and played for the 1.FC Kaiserslautern U15 through U19 teams...U17 team won the South-West German championship from 2005-07...nationally, he played for the U21 Rhineland in 2010-11, and played for 1.FC Kaiserslautern from 2008-09 in the U19 Bundesliga which is the highest German youth league...U17 Kaiserslautern advanced to the semifinals of the German Championship in 2006-07.
