In November of 2002 the Gonzaga University baseball program began use of
a new indoor baseball practice facility - The Warehouse. The facility
contains a weight room, exercise area, three state-of-the-art pitching
machines, four regulation hitting cages, and two full length pitching
lanes. The batting cages can also be moved back to allow infielders to
take ground balls on the artificial surface. Since the opening of the
Baseball Warehouse, Gonzaga has achieved early-season success against
high profile programs across the country, including victories over
Oklahoma, Arizona State, San Diego and the two-time National Champion
Oregon State Beavers. The use of the facility also propelled Gonzaga
into the national rankings in 2006 and the program's second appearance
in the West Coast Conference Championship series in 2007.
