Opened in October 2005, the Harry A. Green Indoor Rowing Facility
provides state-of-the-art practice facilities for the Gonzaga University
men's and women's rowing programs. The 6,000 square foot room is
divided into three workout areas with additional space for storage and
team meeting areas. The racing area allows rowers to compete on erg's
while watching their progress and time on plasma screen televisions. Up
to 12 ergs can be raced head-to-head on each of the three plasma
screens. The other two areas are dedicated to weight equipment and room
for conditioning and stretching. The room also houses 60 storage lockers
for student-athletes to use during work out sessions. A video
center/conference room showcases the Gonzaga trophy collection and gives
student-athletes access to a private study area. An additional room is
available for coaches to study video with rowers to highlight areas of
each race or workout.
