Connolly Falls In Round Of 16 At CGA Match Play Championship

GOLDEN, Colo. - Gonzaga University men's golfer Brendan Connolly fell in the round of 16 Wednesday at the 112^th CGA Match Play Championship, held at The Club at Rolling Hills in Golden, Colo.

Connolly, seeded 10^th at the championship, used a 2 up victory over No. 42 seed David Ramsden-Wood Wednesday morning to earn his spot in the round of 16.

Connolly eventual fell to No. 7 seed Brandon Bingaman. The match was even thru 17 holes, but Bingaman earned the 3 and 1 victory.
