SAN BRUNO, Calif. - Gonzaga University's men's basketball team will appear on the ESPN Networks a minimum of 17 times throughout the 2012-13 season as the West Coast Conference and ESPN announced the WCC television schedule Wednesday.

As part of their long-term relationship, the WCC and ESPN will have a minimum of 43 men's basketball games involving WCC schools air nationally on the ESPN Networks this season.

"We are looking forward once again to having Bulldog basketball showcased throughout the nation on the ESPN Networks," Gonzaga athletic director Mike Roth said. "It gives our fans across the country a chance to follow the Zags and show their Bulldog pride."

WCC Commissioner Jamie Zaninovich also praised ESPN Networks for providing national exposure to the WCC.

"We are excited to showcase more West Coast Conference basketball than ever before on ESPN Networks," Zaninovich said.  "On the heels of a season in which three of our teams played in the NCAA Tournament and five participated in the postseason, the WCC is well-positioned as a national conference.  Our strong relationship with ESPN ensures that fans around the country can experience the quality brand of basketball played in the West Coast Conference."

The first Gonzaga broadcast will be Nov. 12 from the McCarthey Athletic Center when West Virginia University visits for ESPN's College Hoops Tip-off Marathon at 9 p.m. Pacific Time, a game which is also part of the Old Spice Classic which the Bulldogs will compete in Nov. 22-25 at Disney World in Lake Buena Vista, Fla.
