The alumni game will take place Saturday at noon when they face the 2013 Gonzaga baseball team at Patterson Baseball Complex at Washington Trust Field. Fans are encouraged to attend and the gates will be open to the general public at 11 a.m. and admission will be free of charge.
A new wrinkle was added to the weekend with the Alumni Home Run Derby. The derby will start after the conclusion of the game on Saturday.
"We are excited for the 2012 Gonzaga Baseball Alumni Weekend, as we welcome back all of our great alumni," Machtolf said.
