Bulldogs Seek To End University of San Francisco Trend
SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. - Gonzaga University completes its weekend swing to the Bay Area with a 1:30 p.m. game Saturday at the University of San Francisco in the West Coast Conference Game of the Week.
Gonzaga has lost its last three games against the University of San Francisco at War Memorial Gymnasium, including last season's 66-65 verdict as Rashad Green scored on a leaner with 3.3 second remaining. Gonzaga fell in overtime in 2010 and '11. Gonzaga leads the series 45-22 and has won 26 of the last 30 meetings between the teams since the 1999 season. The Zags won the first meeting in Spokane this season 66-52, the Dons losing their 23rd straight game to Gonzaga in Spokane.
Saturday's game will be televised on KHQ-TV in Spokane, Root Sports, Time Warner Cable SportsNet and Comcast SportsNet Bay Area. Fans should check local listings for the channel and time in their area.
Gonzaga will also welcome two new stations to the IMG Radio Network through the 2016 season - 900AM in Wenatchee, Wash., and KWIQ 1020 in Moses Lake, Wash., are the newest members of the Bulldogs Radio Network. They join flagship stations 1510 KGA in Spokane as well as 101.1 KEYF-FM in Spokane, ESPN 1490 in Walla Walla, Wash., KALE 960 in the Tri-Cities, Wash. And KMAS 1030 in Shelton, Wash.
