Men's Soccer Returns To Action At Saint Mary's, Santa Clara
SPOKANE, Wash. - Gonzaga University's men's soccer team returns to action after having last weekend off, but it will be a couple of familiar teams the Bulldogs face this Friday and Sunday.
The Bulldogs will be at Saint Mary's College Friday at 3 p.m. and conclude the Bay Area swing Sunday at Santa Clara University at 2 p.m.
Friday's match at SMC has been moved to 3 p.m. PDT. The match was originally scheduled to begin at 4 p.m., but with sunset Friday scheduled for 6:15 p.m. in Moraga, Calif., officials decided to adjust the start time to allow enough daylight in the event overtime is needed. Daylight Saving Time ends at 2 a.m. Sunday, November 4, when clocks will fall back one hour to Standard Time.
The last time the Bulldogs played was against those same two teams, dropping a 2-0 decision to Saint Mary's and a 1-0 setback to the Broncos at home to bring an end to the first half of West Coast Conference play.
