VANCOUVER, Wash. - Gonzaga University men's golfer Travis Johnsen finished second at the 56th annual Royal Oaks Invitational Tournament, hosted at the Royal Oaks Country Club in Vancouver, Wash., earlier this week.

He put together rounds of 73-71-70 for a 54-hole, three day total of 214. Johnsen, who entered into the final 18-holes in fourth place and four-shots behind then-leader Jack Dukeminier, earned second after falling to eventual winner Landon Banks in a 19th-hole playoff.

The Royal Oaks Invitational Tournament featured many of the top amateur golfers from around the Northwest. The tournament was comprised of three divisions, the Championship Division; which Johnsen partook in, the Junior-Senior Division, and the Senior Division.
