Fahy Ties For 48th At Canadian Amateur Championship

CUMBERLAND, Ontario - Gonzaga University men's golfer James Fahy of Vancouver, British Columbia, finished tied for 48th at the 108th Canadian Amateur Championship at the Camelot Golf and Country Club and Club de golf Outaouais in Cumberland, Ontario.
Fahy, the sophomore-to-be, fired a six-over par 294 over the 7,021, par 72 layout with rounds of 71-75-73-75.
Fahy had qualified for the Canadian Amateur Championship for the second-consecutive year after tying for 12th at the British Columbia (BC) Championship earlier this summer with a 54-hole score of 296 (71-76-76-73).
Mackenzie Hughes of Dundas, Ontario won the event for the second-straight year with a 12-under par 276 with rounds of 72-67-65-72.
