HIGH SCHOOL:  Attended Dr. Denison Secondary School... capped his senior season by leading Dr. Dennison to the title game of the AAA Provincial playoffs, scoring 26-points in the title game setback...scored 42 points in York Region Athletic Association Tier 1 senior boys basketball final...played for 2009 Canadian Cadet Men's National Team that won bronze at the U-16 FIBA Americas Championship and the 2010 U-17 FIBA World Championships.. averaged 18.4 ppg, 5.4 rpg, 3.8 assists/game and 3.2 steals/game while playing 29 minutes/game for U-16 team in 2009 and 15.8 ppg, 5.0 rpg, 4.1 assists/game and 1.3 steals/game for 2010 U-17 team in inaugural FIBA U-17 World Championships in Germany, going 5-3 and defeating Lithuania 83-81 for the bronze... FRESHMAN (2011-12):  Came off the bench in season opener then started the next 32 games...first collegiate start at home against Washington State in ESPN's College Hoops Tip-off Marathon and made it a memorable one with 33 points on 9-for-13 from 3-point range (he missed all three of his 2-point attempts) and a perfect 6-for-6 from the line...the nine treys equaling a school record set by Dan Dickau twice...named WCC Player of the Week as he followed up his WSU effort with 12 points, 3 assists, 3 steals, just 1 turnover and 1 blocked shot in 29 minutes in a win over the University of Hawai'i in Vancouver, British Columbia...had a solid week to help lead Gonzaga to wins over Air Force and Butler to earn WCC Player of the Week honors again...averaged 21.0 ppg, 4.0 rpg, 2.0 assists/game for the two games while shooting 56.0 percent from the field (14-for-25) and 47.4 percent from 3-point range (9-for-19)...also went a perfect 5-for-5 from the free throw line and had an assist-to-turnover ratio of 1.3, committing just three turnovers in 73 minutes....scored 19 points against two-time Final Four finalist Butler, going 7-for-11 from the field, 3-7 from 3-point range and 2-2 from the line...came back with 23 points on 7-14 from the field, 6-12 from 3-point range and 3-3 from the line against Air Force, scoring 17 of Gonzaga's 28 first-half points against Air Force, going 5-8 from the field including 4-7 from 3-point range...scored 27 points at home against Saint Mary's in crucial late-season match-up to hand Gaels first WCC setback and move the Zags to within one game of the lead...went 8-of-16 from the field, 5-of-6 from 3-point range and 6-of-6 from the line...had a pair of assists, two steals and no turnovers in 33 minutes...two nights later scored 21 points against Loyola Marymount, going 8-for-12 from the field, 5-7 from 3-point range and handed out season-high nine assists...for the week he went 16-for-18 from the field for 57.1 percent, 10-13 from 3-point range for 76.9 percent and 6-6 from the line to earn his third WCC Player of the Week honor...scored 30 points in WCC Tournament semifinal victory over BYU, going 10-for-17 from the field (he missed his first shot of the game) , 5-of-9 from 3-point range and 5-of-6 from the line...had four assists, a steal and a turnover in 33 minutes against the Cougars...his 79 3-pointers rank him tied for eighth on the Gonzaga single-season list with Blake Stepp (2004) and his 197 3-point attempts rank 10th on the single-season list...named the WCC Newcomer of the Year, All-WCC first team, WCC All-Freshman team and to the WCC All-Tournament team.

SOPHOMORE (2012-13):  Named to Naismith Award Preseason Watch List for Player of the Year honors.

Misc.: Grew up in the community of Holland in East Gwillimbury, Ontario, north of Toronto...father, Bill, attended University of Toronto and is women's basketball coach at York University in Toronto, where sister Kayla is also a member of the team...mother, Patty, played basketball at McMaster University in Hamilton, Ontario.
