Katelan Redmon Tabbed WCC Player of the Week
SPOKANE, Wash. - Gonzaga University women's basketball senior Katelan Redmon was named West Coast Conference Player of the Week as announced by the conference office Monday. This is Redmon's second WCC weekly honor of the year and the Bulldogs fourth.
Redmon scored a game-high 28 points and grabbed seven rebounds to help guide the Bulldogs to a 77-60 win over BYU this past Saturday. The Spokane native shot 60 percent (12-of-20) from the field and scored 16 points in GU's big second half. The victory clinched the WCC title outright for the Zags. Gonzaga has now won eight consecutive WCC regular season titles dating back to the 2004-05 season.
