SPOKANE, Wash. – Kelly Graves, the Gonzaga University women’s basketball head coach for the past 14 years, has accepted the head coaching position at the University of Oregon.

Graves went 316-136 in his 14 year tenure at Gonzaga and won an unprecedented 10-straight West Coast Conference Championships. He led the Zags to seven NCAA Tournaments in the last eight years and sixth-straight. The Bulldogs advanced to the Elite Eight in 2011 and made Sweet Sixteen appearances in both 2010 and 2012.

“We appreciate the tremendous success that was achieved during Kelly Graves’ tenure at Gonzaga and wish him well at Oregon,” stated Gonzaga Athletic Director Mike Roth. “We will work hard to identify the very best candidate to build on what we have today.”
