OVERVIEW
The Gonzaga University women's basketball program in on the rise and in order to help the Bulldogs compete on the national level, Gonzaga is providing the best in basketball facilities. Gonzaga opened play in the new McCarthey Athletic Center for the 2004-05 season with the GU women posting a 14-0 record as they won the West Coast Conference regular-season title.
In addition to a new basketball arena, the Gonzaga women also moved into their new locker room named in honor of Margaret E. Zimmerman, the mother-in-law of a Gonzaga University booster.

GONZAGA WOMEN'S BASKETBALL LOCKER PROJECT
In an effort to help honor former players who have helped establish the Gonzaga women's basketball program, Gonzaga Athletics has established the Locker Recognition project to honor former players. Former players or friends of the program may purchase a plaque in a locker or join with a group of former players to sponsor a locker. There are only 20 lockers available to ensure your place among the greats of Gonzaga basketball.
