GAMEDAY ENTRANCE NOTE: Due to construction of the Volkar Center, entrance to the Martin Centre for Gonzaga volleyball matches has changed for the 2017 season. To enter, please use the north Martin Centre entrance on the 2nd or 3rd floor then take the elevator or stairs down to the first floor to access the volleyball gym. The north side of the Martin Centre faces the Hemmingson Center and Mulligan Field.

For easiest access to the north Martin Centre entrance, please park on the north side of campus at the Gonzaga parking garage, the BARC. The BARC is located on the corner of Desmet Ave and Hamilton Street.

Competition Floor Access
Coaches, players, staff, officials, and game administrators only are allowed on the court at any time.

Disabled Guest Services
Wheelchairs can be accommodated on the second-level on designated platforms. The second level can be accessed via the elevator in the north end of the atrium on the first floor of the Martin Centre. Guest Services, located at the main gym entrance of the Martin Centre, can help with any questions or concerns.

Exit and Re-Entry
Exit and Re-Entry of the Martin Centre is not permitted during volleyball matches. If patrons leave the facility, a new ticket is needed to be re-admitted.

Fan Conduct
Gonzaga University Athletics wants to provide all coaches, student-athletes, staff, and guests with a safe, comfortable and enjoyable atmosphere. Foul or abusive language, or inconsiderate and disruptive behavior will not be tolerated. Objects may not be thrown onto the floor at any time. Guests who do not adhere to Athletic Department policies are subject to ejection without refund.

Food and Beverage
The Martin Centre Concessions stand is located in the west hallway, on the first floor outside the main gym. Concessions opens one hour prior to game time. No outside food or beverages will be allowed to enter the facility.

Gates Open
Gates open one hour before game time. For other events held in the Martin Centre, gate opening times may vary.

Guest Services
For any questions or concerns during an event, please see Guest Services, located at the ticket booth at the main gym entrance of the Martin Centre. 

Location and Directions
The Charlotte Y. Martin Centre is located at 710 E Lower Kennedy Dr., between the McCarthey Athletic Center and Luger Field. 

Traveling from East I-90 or West I-90
Take exit 282 (Trent/Hamilton) on I-90.
Merge into the left lane and take a LEFT at the light (Trent).
Take your first RIGHT (Cincinnati St.).
The main parking lot will be 1 block North on your left.

Alternate parking:
Take exit 282 (Trent/Hamilton) off of I-90.
Merge into the left lane and take a LEFT at the light (Trent).
Take your first LEFT into the alternative parking lot.
This lot is lit and has a sidewalk that will take you directly to the McCarthey Athletic Center.

Lost and Found
To report or claim any lost items during the event, please visit Guest Services located at the main gym entrance. To claim any lost items after the event is over please call the Athletic Ticket Office at 509-313-6000.

Media Area
Media may sit at the media table on the south side of the court. Please contact the Gonzaga Sports Information Office for more details if you are a media member attending a GU sporting event at the Martin Centre.

Gonzaga University merchandise is available at the Zag Shop at the corner of Desmet & Cincinnati, up the street from the Martin Centre. Hours may vary from game schedule.

Gameday Parking: Parking is available on game days, free of charge in the south parking lot near the Martin Centre. All parking, including ADA parking spaces, are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Gonzaga University is not responsible for illegal parking of their patrons.

Non-Gameday Parking: 
Per Gonzaga University Parking Services, visitors must obtain a visitor pass from the Admissions Visitor's Office, Law Library circulation desk, or prior arrangement by calling 509-313-4147. Please visit the Gonzaga University Parking website at for more information.


There is a courtesy telephone located in the west hallway of the first floor of the event level. Please ask any event staff member for assistance. You must dial 9 first for a local call. No long distance calls may be made without a calling card.

Prohibited Items
For the safety and security of all guests, certain items may not be brought into the Martin Centre. Storage facilities are not available for checking prohibited items. Prohibited items include, but are not limited to:

  • Any food or beverage item
  • Cans or Bottles 
  • Alcohol, tobacco, illegal drugs
  • Smoking or vaping 
  • Large bags, coolers or backpacks 
  • Laser pens 
  • Animals (except service animals)
  • Artificial noisemakers
  • Weapons
  • Bicycles or scooters
  • Promotional items 
  • Throwable items
  • Strollers
  • Tripods
  • Any other items deemed dangerous or inappropriate by GU Athletics Event Staff

There are men's and women's restrooms located in the west hallway next to the concession stand outside the main gym.

Seating and Tickets
Single Game Tickets: Tickets can be purchased online at or at the McCarthey Athletic Center Ticket Office, Monday through Friday, between 10 a.m. and 5 p.m. Tickets will be sold at the door beginning one hour prior to match start time. The ticket booth is located outside the main entrance to the gym, and closes after game 3. The main gym entrance is located on the north side of the Martin Centre first floor. Children under two years of age are allowed in the arena without a ticket, but must share a seat with their guardian. Fans may sit on either the north or south side bleachers during home volleyball matches.

Student Tickets: Gonzaga students with a valid GU ID may attend all home volleyball regular season matches for free.

Staff/Faculty Tickets: Gonzaga staff and faculty may attend all home volleyball regular season matches for free. Immediate family of GU staff and faculty may also attend for free by entering with that employee. The staff/faculty member must be present, and may not pass their ID card onto others to attend.

Will Call & Player Guest Tickets: Will Call is located at the Martin Centre Ticket Booth and opens one hour prior to match start time. Player guest tickets can be picked up at the ticket table just outside the main entrance beginning one hour prior to match start time.
