Summer Camp Offerings Have Something For Everybody

SPOKANE, Wash. - Summer camps for almost every young sports enthusiast are being offered this year by several of Gonzaga University's coaches.
Baseball will offer five weeks of camps for various ages and skill levels. The Zags Baseball Summer Pups Camp is for children ages 5-6 with the Zags Baseball Summer Lil Zags Camp for campers ages 7-10. Both camps will be held June 21-23.
The Gonzaga Baseball Team Camp will be July 15-18 and is for players graduating from high school from 2010 through 2014. The Zags Baseball Summer Big Dogs Camp for ages 11-14 will be held July 19-21 and the Gonzaga Baseball Prospect Camp for graduates from 2010-14 will be Aug. 20-22.

Gonzaga men's basketball will offer three sessions of team camp, a session of Day Camp and an Advanced Skills Camp. Team Camp 1 will be June 20-23, Team Camp 2 is slated for June 27-30 and Team Camp 3 is July 24-28. All three team camps are for boys high school teams.
Day camp is for boys and girls entering grades 1-7 in the fall and will be held July 21-23. The Advanced Skills Camp is for boys entering grades 3-12 in the fall and will be held July 29-Aug. 1.

Gonzaga's women's basketball coaches will offer an Individual Overnight Camp, Individual Day Camp, High School Position Camp, Team Camp and a Summer Shootout Girls Basketball Tournament.
The individual camps are for girls between the ages of 5-14. The Individual Overnight Camp will have sessions July 14-18 and July 5-9, with the Individual Day Camp July 15-18 and July 6-9 and held in conjunction with the Overnight Camp.
The High School Position Camp will be June 18-20, with the Summer Shootout Girls Basketball Tournament featuring two sessions June 11-13 and July 19-20.
Team Camp 1 will be June 14-17 and Team Camp 2 is June 17-20. Team Camps 3 and 4 are full.

Men's soccer will conduct a Junior Camp for players ages 5-9 and an Advanced Day Camp for players ages 10-14, both camps scheduled for June 28-July 1. There will be a Striker/Keeper Camp for ages 12-17 June 28-30 and a Prospect Camp for 2010-14 high school graduates June 26-27.

Women's soccer will conduct the Gonzaga Soccer Academy Girls High School Residential Camp July 11-14 for players in grades 9-12, the Girls Junior Residential Camp for ages 10-13 July 18-21 and a Day Camp for ages 5-10 June 28-July 1.

Gonzaga's men's and women's tennis coaches will conduct three Junior Overnight and Day Camps. The first is July 18-23 for players ages 9-18. Two of the camps will be for high school players only, July 25-30 and Aug. 1-6.

Two Gonzaga camps remain for volleyball. The Positional Camp July 12-15 and the Complete Player Camp July 16-18 have limited spots remaining. Team Camp is sold out.
