Q: Is the Priority Seating Structures' optional donation based on a per seat donation or a donation per account?
A: The Priority Seating Structure for Women's Basketball includes optional donation levels based on each account.  For example, if you have 4 seats in the $200 level, you would only be asked to give $200 as a total donation, plus the cost of the season tickets.  It is not necessary to give $200 for every seat you hold.

Q: When does the Priority Seating Structure start?
A: For current season ticket holders, the Priority Seating Structure begins in 2013-14.  All renewing season ticket holders will have their same seat location unless they decide they want to move.  Any NEW season ticket holder would need to make a donation in order to be eligible to have season ticket seats in a Priority Seating area.   In this way, we want to reward our long-time season ticket holders.  The program is optional if you already have seats.  It is mandatory for new ticketholders.

Q: Is the optional donation a one-time gift or something I need to do every year?
A: The Priority Seating Structure represents an annual donation for an account to be assured on maintaining their seat location.

Q: When do I need to make a donation to be assured of keeping my seat location?
A: Your donation or pledge to donate must be received by September 1st.  Pledges can be paid over the course of the season and are due by April 15th.  If you make a donation this year or next year, you will receive our pledge that the access point to keep seats in your Priority Seating area will remain the same for the next 5 years.

Q: Why not raise the ticket price per seat instead of instituting the Priority Seating Structure and the optional donation?
A: Our goal is maintain the affordability of women's basketball season tickets while rewarding those season ticket holders that support our programs above and beyond the ticket cost.  Also, your gift carries the benefit of being tax-deductible.  An increase to the ticket cost would not be tax deductible for you.

Q: If I make a donation, how long do I receive benefits?
A: Donations to Gonzaga receive benefits during the fiscal year in which they were received.  Gonzaga' fiscal year runs June 1st through May 31stClick here to see the benefits associated with gifts to the Bulldog Club and Women's Basketball Excellence Fund.

Q: I have men's basketball season tickets and/or already am a Bulldog Club member that makes a donation to the Athletic Department.   Do I need to give in addition to my current gift/pledge?
A: While additional gifts are welcome, current Bulldog Club members do not need to make an additional gift to maintain to participate in the Women's Basketball priority seating program.  One gift counts for both priority seating programs.

Q: What is the difference between the Bulldog Club and the Women's Basketball Excellence Fund?
A: The Bulldog Club supports all 18 of Gonzaga's Division I athletic programs.  Donations to the Women's Basketball Excellence Fund go to directly support the Women's Basketball team.

Q: Where does the money go?
A: Your donation will help provide our athletic programs with the resources to continue to compete on a national level.  While Bulldog Club funds go primarily to support athletic scholarships, Excellence Fund donations fund initiatives at the head coaches' discretion to enhance and improve their program.

Q: Is my donation tax deductible?
A: Yes, donations are tax deductible.  Gonzaga University will furnish you with a gift acknowledgement for tax purposes.  Please consult with your tax advisor for deductibility rules.
