Bulldogs Complete 2004 Row-A-Thon

SPOKANE, Wash. - The Gonzaga University men's and women's rowing teams completed a successful 2004 Row-A-Thon on Wednesday evening in the lobby of the Martin Centre. Members of the Bulldogs rowing teams along with coaches and several guest rowers combined to row 1,212,764 meters during the 12-hour period. The event serves as a fundraiser for the rowing teams and helps them to purchase new boats and equipment.
Gonzaga will open the 2004 fall racing season this Saturday with a home regatta against Washington State University. Racing will start at 9:30 a.m. at the Gonzaga boat house located on the Spokane River.
