Gonzaga Announces Parking Options For McCarthey Athletic Center Events
Nov. 12, 2004
SPOKANE, Wash. - Gonzaga University has announced the opening of a new parking lot for fans attending events at the new McCarthey Athletic Center. The University recently completed construction on a new lot on the south side of Trent and Cincinnati, directly south of the McCarthey Athletic Center. The lot is fully lighted and a path on the west end of the lot allows fans to walk along the Spokane River under the Trent Bridge to make their way to the McCarthey Athletic Center. Fans should access this lot as an overflow lot once spots have been filled in the current Martin Centre/Law School parking areas. The Spokane Police Department and Gonzaga University security will be on hand at the conclusion of each Gonzaga men's game and special events to help departing fans with traffic flow.
The Bulldogs face Lewis-Clark State College this Sunday at 2 p.m. in the final exhibition game of the season. The regular-season home opener will be next Friday, Nov. 19 against Portland State University.
