Gonzaga Launches New Home For Former Student-Athletes
SPOKANE, Wash. - Former Gonzaga University student-athletes now have a place to reconnect with their alma mater as the Bulldogs proudly announce the launching of the Gonzaga Alumni and Varsity Club.
Former Gonzaga student-athletes can join the Varsity Club through May 2012 by completing the information on the membership page. Membership to the Varsity Club will be free until May 31 and beginning June 1, 2012, dues will be $25 annually.
Varsity Club members will receive information about upcoming events and can view photos of recent alumni events. Additional benefits include newsletters quarterly, a car decal window cling, a lapel pin and a complimentary Varsity Club t-shirt.
"We are very excited to launch Gonzaga Athletic Alumni and the Varsity Club," associate athletic director/senior woman administrator Heather Gores said. "Gonzaga has such a rich tradition of success, and this is a much-needed element to bring the Zag family together and unify the past with the present. We are thrilled for the opportunity to establish the Varsity Club to recognize and appreciate our former student-athletes for their accomplishments, while providing a forum to communicate, engage and reconnect with our former student-athletes."
More information about both the Alumni and Varsity Club are available through Gores at (509) 313-3599 or email@example.com.
