Erik Anderson Invitational - Women's Cross Country

The Gonzaga women's cross country team competes in the Erik Anderson Invitational

JUNIOR (2015-16): Ran in four cross country races…finished twenty-fourth at the Bill Dellinger Invitational with a personal best time of 23:24.50 in the 6000 meter…ran another personal best in the 4000 meter with a time of 15:24.4 at the Clash of the Inland Northwest…ran in five races during indoor season…finished eleventh in the 800 meters at the Cougar Indoor in 2:24.06…ran in ten personal events and five relays during the outdoor season…opened with a third place finish in the 800 with a time of 2:24.76 at the Buc Scoring Invite…finished first at the University of Idaho Invitational in the 400 meters with a personal best of 62.14…was a member of 4x4 relay with four top five finishes with a third place finish and time of 4:14.85 at the Dusty and Duane Spokane Memorial.

SOPHOMORE (2014-15):
Placed fourth at the Vandal Indoor Invitational with a time of 2:20.09 in the 800 meters … was a member of three-straight top-five finishes on the 4x400-meter relay team, including a second place finish at the Buc Scoring Invite … finished in the top 10 at the Oregon Relays and the BYU Cougar Invitational … she ran a 2:26.08 at the Oregon Relays.

FRESHMAN (2013-14): Opened collegiate cross country career with a 16:10, 55th place finish at the Clash of the Inland Northwest … took first in the 800 meters at the Whitworth Twilight with a time of 2:20.23 … followed that performance with a second place finish at the Duane Hartman Invitational at 2:19.63 … closed the season with a personal-best 2:16.99 at the West Coast Invitational.

HIGH SCHOOL: Attended Blanchet High, lettering four years in both cross country and track ... freshman cross country season year ran 2-mile once in 16:12.20 at The Bellarmine Invitational to finish 22nd ... turned in season-best 5K of 23:06 to place 27th in Metro League Championship ... sophomore season ran PR of 14:11.04 to finish 61st in 2-mile at The Bellarmine Invitational ... finished 29th in 3-mile at Sunfair Invitational in time of 21:59.76 ... best 5K time was 21:24.07 to place 17th at Metro League Championships ... placed 41st in SeaKing District 3 championship in 21:24.07 ... junior cross country season ran PR of 13:57.09 for 2-mile to place 53rd at The Bellarmine Invitational ... placed in top 10 three times at 5K ... ran 21:16.00 to place 32nd in Metro 3A Championships and ran PR 20:40.85 to place 40th in SeaKing District 3 Championship ... as senior placed 17th in Metro League Championship in 21:08.04, was 29th in SeaKing District 2 Championship in 20:36.60 as Blanchet finished third ... capped career with career-best 20:31.5 to place 71st in Washington State Class 3A State Championship as Blanchet finished 8th ... freshman track season placed second three times in 800 meters, including season-best 2:35.50 in four-way meet with Nathan Hale, Seattle Prep and West Seattle ... placed 13th in 800 in Metro Championship in 2:37.10 ... ran on 4x400 relay team that finished 8th in Metro Championship in season-best 4:32.02 ... sophomore season ran 400 meters once in 66.12 to finish second in meet with Bainbridge ... ran PR of 2:27.44 for 800 meters to place 8th in Metro Championship preliminaries, then placed 6th with 2:30.00 in finals ... placed 10th in SeaKing District 2 Championship in 2:31.19 ... ran season-best 1600 meters in 6:01.20 ... won 4x400 relay twice, including season-best 4:16.90 ... finished 6th in Metro Championships in 4:32.13 and placed 10th in prelims at SeaKing 3A District 2 Championship in 4:36.27 ... junior season ran PR 64.64 for 400 meters in taking second in meet with O'Dea and Holy Names ... won 800 meters in 2:36.30 in meet with Rainier Beach, Chief Sealth and Franklin ... finished 4th in Metro Championship 800M in 2:26.12, set PR of 2:22.70 to place 9th in SeaKing 3A District 2 Championship ... 4x400 relay team 4:16.36 to place 4th in Metro Championship and placed 9th in SeaKing 3A District 2 Championship in 4:17.41 ... ran on distance medley team that finished 6th in 13:57.60 at Seattle Academy Relays ... senior season ran career-best 63.84 for 400M to finish second in meet with Nathan Hale and Cleveland ... ran PR 2:22.28 to finish 7th in prelims of SeaKing 3A District 2 Championship, then ran another PR of 2:19.46 to place 7th in finals ... won 1600 meters in PR of 5:31.70 against Rainier Beach, Seattle Prep and Eastside Catholic, then ran career-best 5:28.50 to finish third against Nathan Hale and Seattle Prep ... placed 4th in Metro Championship in 5:31.87 ... 4x400 relay team won five regular-season meets, finished second in Metro Championship in 4:13.53, placed second in SeaKing 3A District 2 Championship prelims in then season-best 4:06.25, took 4th in Washington State 3A Championship prelims in season-best 4:00.85 and placed 4th in finals in 4:01.17.
