Gonzaga University- Perrin found early success in his freshman campaign, claiming top-10 finishes in each of his first two meets. Represented Gonzaga in the West Coast Conference Cross Country Championships and NCAA West Regional Championships. Consistently improved Indoor 3000 time, culminating with a personal best 8:09.02 at the 2017 Husky Classic. Ran a personal best 14:04.82 5000 at the UCLA Legends Invitational.
High School- Perrin comes to Gonzaga as a Montana state champion and state record holder. In his senior season, Perrin won the Montana State Cross Country Championship in a career best time of 14:47.9 over the 3-mile course. At the 2016 State Track and Field Championships he won the 1600 and 3200 meter runs in times of 4:12.06 and 9:04.35, both State Meet record times.
Personal- Jake started running his junior year of high school after two seasons of football. His older brother, Zach, runs for the University of Colorado. Weird fact is he is good at Guitar Hero. Addicted to coffee.
