Gonzaga University's women's cross country team finished eighth, while the Bulldog men claimed ninth Saturday at the University of Montana Invitational.
The Bulldog women had 230 points in the meet captured by the host Grizzlies with 40 points. The GU men had 265 points as Weber State University won the men's title with 56 points.
Becka Hardy was the top Bulldog finisher in 24:26.96, with Kim Gibson taking 51st in 25:25.41. The individual women's title was won by Emily Nay running unatcched in 21:55.10 over the 5K course.
Ryan Anderson was the top Gonzaga men's finisher, taking 56th in 28:53.13. He was followed closely by Mark Bridenstine in 57th in 28:54.49. Teren Jameson of the University of Utah claimed the individual title in 25:12.19 over the 8K course.
