Jill Semenza finished seventh to pace the Gonzaga University women, while Ryan Anderson was the top Bulldog man across the line in 17th place Saturday at the Washington State University Invitational cross country meet.
Semenza posted a 20:10.35 over the 5K course. Maria Zambrano, running unnatched, captured the women's title in 18:49.25.
Anderson covered the 8K men's course in 28:12.11. Danny Wolf led a 1-2 WSU finish in 26:41.81.
The meet was scored using dual meet scoring.
Gonzaga will compete in the Bronco Invitational hosted by Santa Clara University next weekend as a final tuneup for the West Coast Conference Championships on Nov. 2.
