SPOKANE, Wash. -
Gonzaga's men's and women's cross country teams finished in the middle of the pack on Saturday afternoon during the Zags final tune up for the West Coast Conference Championships. Gonzaga competed in the Bigfoot Classic contested at Spokane Falls Community College. The Zags travel to Belmont, Calif., next weekend for the WCC Championships.
Becka Hardy finished in 11th place as the Gonzaga women's squad finished in third place just three points ahead of fourth place Whitman College. Carrie Gibson was the next best Bulldogs runner finishing in 21st.
The men's team was paced by Sam Burch and Ryan Anderson, both runners finishing just a second apart in 20th and 21st position. The men's team claimed fourth place in the six team event.
