SPOKANE, Wash. - Gonzaga University head cross country coach Kevin Swaim has announced his 2005 men's and women's schedule which includes four regional meets and the West Coast Conference championships.

Gonzaga opens on Friday, Sept. 2, at the University of Idaho Invite and will then compete every other week until the WCC championships on Oct. 29 in Belmont, Calif. Additional regular-season meets include the Sundodger Invitational in Seattle, the Willamette Invitational in Oregon and the Eastern Washington Invite in Cheney.

The NCAA West Regionals will be Nov. 11 in Palo Alto, Calif., should the Bulldogs fare well in the WCC championships. The Gonzaga men are coming off back-to-back NCAA West Regional appearances and will be led by junior Joe Miller. Senior Jill Semenza competed as an individual in last year's NCAA West Regionals and leads a strong women's team into the 2005 season.
