2016: Went 10-3 with a 2.42 ERA and 125 strikeouts as a junior…third-highest single-season strikeout total in program history…First Team All-WCC …Second Team All-West Region honors…Academic All-West Region…WCC All-Academic Team…made All-WCC Championships and All-Fort Worth Regional teams…on USA Baseball Golden Spikes Award Midseason watch list…fanned 17 batters during WCC Championships May 26, the most by a Zag since the early 1990s…threw two complete games: May 3 versus Loyola Marymount and May 26 vs. BYU…earned win at No. 7 TCU March 4…WCC/Rawlings Pitcher of the Week March 7…seven straight games of one earned run allowed or less from March 12-April 22…fanned a then-career high 13 with two walks allowed in eight shutout innings April 1 at Pacific…struck out 10 and allowed just one run May 13 at LMU…earned win at NCAA Regionals against Arizona State June 3…drafted and signed in the sixth round in 2016 MLB Draft by the Oakland Athletics.

Personal: Son of Antoinette and Brad…has one sibling named Bri…father Brad played football at Colorado State-Pueblo…majoring in sports management…wants to be involved with creative marketing for a professional baseball team…chose Gonzaga because of the GU community and Catholic Jesuit tradition…can quote almost any movie he’s seen start to finish.
