SUMMER (2010): Played for the Orleans Firebirds in the Cape Cod Summer League... posted an overall 3-0 record with a 2.51 ERA with 47 strikeouts in 43 innings... threweight complete innings of no-hit baseball before giving up a hit in the 9th inning in a 3-1 victory vs the Bourne Braves on July 25.
JUNIOR (2011): West Coast Conference Pitcher of the Year...All-WCC selection...WCC/Rawlings Pitcher of the Week for Feb. 28...WCC Pitcher of the Month for April...drafted in the seventh round, 240th overall pick, by the Tampa Bay Rays in the 2011 Major League Baseball First-Year Player Draft...All-WCC preseason team selection...started all 14 appearances...posted an 8-2 record with a 2.62 earned-run average in 96 innings...led the WCC in strikeouts with 107...opening day starter versus Oregon State University in Fresno, Calif., struck out five but allowed three runs on eight hits and three walks in five innings...flirted with a no-hitter at then-eighth-ranked Texas A&M University Feb. 25, walked leadoff hitter and surrendered first hit in the sixth inning, finished the day with 10 strikeouts and allowed no runs on one hit and three walks in 7 1/3 innings...set a career-high 11 strikeouts in 6 1/3 innings in no-decision at the University of the Pacific Mar. 4...threw four consecutive 7-inning games from Mar. 25-April 15....allowed one run on six hits and three walks in win against then-11th-ranked UC Irvine Mar. 25...tossed first career complete-game and matched career-high 11 strikeouts in win against Saint Mary's College April 21...flirted with a perfect game at Santa Clara University April 29, allowed leadoff walk followed by single in the seventh inning, threw second straight complete-game.
