2016: Hit .254 as a redshirt junior, collecting 15 hits, 12 runs, and 11 RBIs...began GU career Feb. 20, ripping pinch-hit two-RBI single Feb. 20 at Grand Canyon...made first career start Feb. 27 against Incarnate Word, posting a run and RBI on one hit and one walk...collected two hits -- one a double -- and scored two runs March 9 at Arkansas...starting DH all three games at UTSA, contributing two hits, an RBI and a run scored during game one March 13...ripped an RBI double March 26 at Saint Mary's...scored career-high three runs March 28 at Washington after walking twice and doubling once...two hits April 3 in start at Pacific...two RBIs April 8 against Portland.

2015: Redshirted junior season.

Walla Walla Community College: Played two years at Walla Walla CC…earned numerous honors with the Warriors, including two First-Team East-Region awards and getting named a 2013 ABCA/Rawlings Pacific Association Division All-American…also First Team All-NWAACC infielder with a .352 average, 46 RBIs, and 11 home runs in 2013...also played four years of football for the Lions.

Kennewick High School: Played four years at Kennewick high school…as a senior, hit .411 with a .527 on-base percentage, 20 RBIs, and 30 hits, earning Second Team CBBN honors…picked up First Team CBBN honors in 2011.

Club Experience: Played club ball with the Kennewick Bandits.

Personal: Parents are Carla and Anthony Gonzales…has one brother named Jacob…majoring in sports management…career goal is to be a strength and conditioning coach…chose Gonzaga for the opportunity to receive a high-quality education while continuing his baseball career…wanted to be part of the great GU student community and play on a top-of-the-line baseball program…loves the outdoors; enjoys hunting, fishing, and sitting by a fire.
