Saturday Baseball Rained Out

SPOKANE, Wash. - Following steady rains the spanned most of the morning and early afternoon, Gonzaga University's baseball game with Dartmouth College was called off at 2:30 p.m. The two teams will conclude their series at 11 a.m. on Sunday afternoon at Avista Stadium. Gonzaga won the series opener between the two teams on Friday afternoon, scoring 11 late runs to win 14-7. Due to a scheduled flight back to the East Coast, Gonzaga and Dartmouth will only be able to get in one game on Sunday.
After Sunday's series finale with Dartmouth, Gonzaga will host Whitworth College on Tuesday afternoon at 3 p.m. The Bulldogs will then open West Coast Conference action at home with a three-game series against the University of Portland starting on Friday afternoon at 2 p.m.
