Baseball Games Moved to Sacramento
Feb. 27, 2018

SPOKANE, Wash. -- Due to recent and projected winter weather in Spokane, Gonzaga baseball has cancelled its weekend home series and will travel to Sacramento, Calif., for a round-robin tournament with Milwaukee and host Sacramento State on Sunday and Monday.

Gonzaga was originally scheduled to play Milwaukee in a three-game series in Spokane, but will now play a doubleheader Sunday against Milwaukee and Sacramento State, and a single game Monday against Sacramento State. All games will be played at John Smith Field in Sacramento.

Fans who purchased tickets to the cancelled Milwaukee series can redeem those tickets at any future home game during the 2018 season.

Sacramento State was originally scheduled to play a weekend series at Washington State, but projected weather forced the cancellation of those games as well. Gonzaga, Sac State and Milwaukee then coordinated on a site and schedule to fill out the weekend.

On Sunday, GU will take on Milwaukee at 11 a.m., followed by Sacramento State at 3 p.m. On Monday, the Zags will face Sacramento State at Noon. Stay tuned to GoZags.com for available links to live stats on gameday.

GU (3-4) is coming off of a series-ending win at UC Irvine this past Sunday on the road.
