Bulldogs Final Two Games In Arizona Rained Out

PEORIA, Ariz. – Gonzaga University’s final two games at the Peoria College Showdown Tournament have been rained out. The Bulldogs were scheduled to play the University of Kansas and Sacramento State University Sunday but rain in the Peoria area forced the cancellation of the tournament’s final two games.
Next up for the Zags is a three-game weekend series with Centenary College beginning Friday in Shreveport, Louisiana. Following the series with the Gents, Gonzaga will play the next eight days, facing off against Texas Tech University in Lubbock, Tex. Mar. 9-10 before heading to San Antonio for the Irish Baseball Classic hosted by the University of Notre Dame Mar. 11-14. The Zags close out the stretch with its first home series of the season, hosting BYU at the Patterson Baseball Complex and Washington Trust Field Mar. 15-16.
