SPOKANE, Wash. - Former Gonzaga University second baseman Scott Campbell participated in the Major League Baseball Features Game played at New York's Yankee Stadium on Sunday.

Campbell scored a run in his four at-bats while playing for the World Futures team who beat the U.S. Futures squad 3-0. He was one of the Top-50 prospects chosen by Baseball America along with each MLB organization to play in the game that split the players into U.S. and World teams based on the player's place of birth. Campbell is a native of Auckland, New Zealand.

In 80 games played this season for the New Hampshire Fisher Cats, the Class AA affiliate of the Toronto Blue Jays, Campbell leads the Eastern League in batting average (.337) and is second in the league in hits (101) and on-base percentage (.427). He has 17 doubles, five home runs, 34 RBI, and 50 runs scored.

Campbell was the 10th round pick by the Blue Jays in the 2006 MLB Amateur Draft after playing two seasons for the Zags. He was an All-West Coast Conference first- team selection his sophomore season in 2005 and earned All-WCC Honorable Mention his junior year prior to being drafted by and signing with Toronto at the end of the season.
