SOPHOMORE (2007-08): Was scheduled to redshirt until early-season injury to Josh Heytvelt pressed him into service...appeared in 14 games off the bench...grabbed career-high 5 rebounds against Northern Colorado while playing a career-high 15 minutes...had 3 points twice - against UC Riverside and Northern Colorado...did not play in WCC Tournament or NCAA First Round.
JUNIOR (2008-09): With Robert Sacre injured was called on for more action to give the Bulldogs depth underneath...played season-high 13 minutes against Texas Southern, scoring his first two points of the season...matched career high with 5 rebounds against the Tigers...blocked 2 shots against TSU...turned in one of the strongest performances of his career in 89-79 win at No. 15/25 Tennessee...came off the bench early in second half when Josh Heytvelt picked up his third foul and scored a basket, grabbed four rebounds, had a blocked shot and altered other shots to help spark Gonzaga comeback...played 8 minutes against the Vols...played 12 minutes against Santa Clara, going 1-for-3 from the field with 3 rebounds and a block...scored season-high 4 points and matched career high with 5 rebounds against San Francisco...went 2-for-3 from field against USF...set career high with 6 rebounds at Loyola Marymount and had 3 blocks, one shy of career high...three straight appearances with 2 blocks - at Portland, at Saint Mary's and against Loyola Marymount...matched season-high with 4 points at home against Pepperdine...matched season-high with 13 minutes against Santa Clara in WCC Tournament semifinal, hitting his only shot from the field, grabbing 3 rebounds and getting a steal...played 6 minutes in title game against Saint Mary's, missing his only shot but blocking a shot and grabbing 2 rebounds...for the season scored 25 points, grabbed 36 rebounds and had 17 blocks, all single-season highs...only NCAA Tournament appearance was one minute against North Carolina in Sweet 16.
