High School: Graduated from Friedrich-Magnus-Schwerd-Gymnasium in Speyer, Germany...played for BIS Speyer in German ProB third division for four years, averaging 20.9 ppg and 9.2 rpg in 2009...played for Germany in 2009 European Championships, averaging 2.2 ppg, 2.3 rpg...one of loses in European Championships was to France and former Bulldog and current Golden State Warrior Ronny Turiaf.

FRESHMAN (2009-10): Scored 18 points in 19 minutes in his collegiate debut against Mississippi Valley State, going 6-for-8 from the field and 6-for-6 from the free throw line...scored 17 points and grabbed 9 rebounds at Michigan State and Gonzaga just missed the upset...had 10 rebounds for first double-digit outing as Gonzaga came from 15 down to defeat Colorado in opening round of Maui Invitational...scored 12 points and had 8 rebounds against Wisconsin in semifinal and 3 points and 7 rebounds in title-game victory over Cincinnati...went 8-for-11 from field and 8-for-9 from free throw line for season-high 24 points against Washington State while grabbing 12 rebounds for first career double-double, then came back three games later with season-high 27 points against Davidson in Battle in Seattle...after scoring just 5 points against Duke in Madison Square Garden in next outing, began stretch of 11 straight double-figure scoring games with 22 against Eastern Washington...had 19 points and season-high 16 rebounds against Illinois in the United Center in Chicago, scoring the winning basket with :12 to play in overtime and then grabbed the rebound at the other end to seal the victory...had season-high 31 points and 13 rebounds at Saint Mary's on 13-of-20 night from the field...posted three other double-doubles - 20/13 vs. Pepperdine, 16/14 at Santa Clara and 13/11 at Loyola Marymount...scored 508 points for most by freshman in Gonzaga history...named WCC Newcomer of the Year and All-WCC First Team...named to National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) All-District 9 first team.

SOPHOMORE (2010-11): Joined teammate Steven Gray on John R. Wooden Award Preseason Top 50 Watch List...played for Germany in 2010 FIBA World Championships in Turkey in September...averaged 3.4 ppg, 2.0 rpg...scored tournament-high 7 points in final game against Jordan, had 6 points in opener against Argentina...tournament-high 5 rebounds against Australia...Germany went 2-3 but failed to advance out of preliminary round.
