Mark Few Post Game Quotes
On The Game - "That was a heck of a college basketball game. That was two teams that were slugging it out to stay alive. We knew that going in this thing after watching tape and that's (Xavier) no 14-seed. A team that athletic and that skilled and that well coached and that tough on the defensive side of the ball looked like a five, a four or a three."

"I'm proud of our guys, we really hung in there. That is about as much adversity we've seen all year, especially with the foul trouble, and just the fact it took so long to finally get back into the lead and get control of it."

"Those of you that haven't seen us, we've played a lot of games liek that this year. We've had a lot of preparatiion and these guys do an amazing job in the game situation."

On Higher Seeds Give The Lower Seeds Trouble - "There might be one or two great seeds out there, I don't know if there is a great team out there. There are so many good teams right now. There's just a tremendous amount of parody in college basketball. We try to get people to realize that with our league (West Coast Conference) this year. Nationally, I don't think people respected our league and it was like this every night. Guys that can shoot and that make plays like that."

"With that being said, when Xavier's name popped up on that 14-line, my heart sank because that's not a 14-seed. There were in the Elite Eight two years ago and they are very much like our program. They come to the NCAA Tournament and they expect to win."

On Second Half Adjustments - "We have a saying at Gonzaga, 'Just Keep Sawing Wood,' and that's what we kept doing. We just kept sticking to what we do. We really didn't make too many adjustments; we just kept trying to climb (back in)."

On His Emotions At The End Of The Game - "It was one of those games where it could have been easy for anybody to check out and say, "You know, nice job Xavier.' But, we finally got the lead with about a minute to go. That rebound, you know I'm not the greatest rebounder on this team so I was pretty happy with myself. I knew if I could make the free throws at the end it would pretty much be over. As you guys know I;m a pretty emotional player. I kind of feed off of what other people say to me, or what other people do, and that's what kind of gets me going."

On Xavier - "They played hard. I know what it feels like to be up the whole game and not come away with a win in the NCAA Tournament. That was us with Texas Tech last year."
