Jan. 3, 2008

SPOKANE, Wash. - Saturday's men's basketball game in the Spokane Veterans Memorial Arena between Gonzaga University and the University of Georgia tips off at 5 p.m.

Tickets printed for the event list a 3 p.m. start.

"We regret the error but the game time was switched after the tickets had been printed. We've sent post cards and e-mails to all of our season ticket holders informing them of the 5 p.m. start, and we're hopeful the message has filtered its way to non-season ticket holders," Gonzaga athletic director Mike Roth said. "We've made every effort to get the word out."

Season ticket holders received their tickets for Saturday's game with the season ticket mailing that went out in October.

Saturday's game is sold out and will be televised locally on KAYU-TV and FSN throughout much of the five-state region of Washington, Idaho, Oregon, Montana and Alaska. KHQ-TV was originally scheduled to televise the game locally, but the switch was made to KAYU-TV when KHQ was obligated to televise Saturday's NFL playoff game that also starts at 5 p.m.

Saturday's game can also be heard locally on 1510 KGA and is also audio streamed via the internet at http://www.gozags.com through the All-Access subscription.
