Dickau averaged 18.5 ppg, 3.1 rpg, 4.4 assists and 0.7 steals, leading the Zags to a 12-2 start this season and vaulting the team into both the Associated Press and USA TODAY/ESPN Top 25.

The senior point guard had an assist-to-turnover ratio of 1.6, while also shooting 42.4 percent (73-of-172) from the field and 42.6 percent (46-of-108) from 3-point range. Dickau picked up his scoring even more over the last six contests, posting 20 or more points in five of the last six games, including 29 against 16th-ranked Fresno State University, 23 against Washington State University and 25 at Saint Joseph's University. In the Bulldogs victory over the Hawks, Dickau nailed the game-winning 3-point shot with 3.6 seconds left on the clock.

Gonzaga ended the month with a 9-game winning streak, including wins over nationally ranked Fresno State and previously ranked (10th in preseason poll) Saint Joseph's. Dickau was recently named to the Wooden Award Top 30 to become the third straight Bulldog so honored.
