Status Quo For Bulldogs In Polls

Jan 13, 2004

SPOKANE, Wash. - Nothing changed for Gonzaga University in the two major basketball polls this week, the Bulldogs remaining 16th in the Associated Press Top 25 and 17th in the USA Today/ESPN balloting.

The Bulldogs won a pair of games last week, going on the road to defeat Pepperdine University and Loyola Marymount University in their West Coast Conference openers. Gonzaga makes its WCC home debut this week, entertaining the University of San Francisco on Thursday and Saint Mary's College on Saturday. Thursday's game will be televised in Spokane on PAX-TV beginning with the pre-game show at 6:30 p.m., while Saturday's game will be televised on ESPN2 at 8 p.m.

The University of Connecticut and Duke University continue to run first and second, respectively, in both polls.
