SAN BRUNO, Calif. - Gonzaga University sophomore guard Matt Bouldin and Saint Mary's College junior forward Ian O'Leary share this week's West Coast Conference men's basketball Player of the Week honor.

The weekly award is the second consecutive honor for Bouldin, while it marks O'Leary's first of the season.

Bouldin turned in spectacular all-around numbers in leading the Bulldogs to a WCC-opening road sweep of Loyola Marymount University and Pepperdine University. The Highlands Ranch, Colo., native averaged 16.5 points per game on 54.2 percent shooting from the field, connecting on 13-of-24 attempts. In addition, Bouldin grabbed 5.0 rebounds per game, handed out 6.0 assists per game, and swiped 5.0 steals per contest. He started the week by tossing in 17 points, dishing out eight assists and tallying five steals in the Zags' 91-68 win over LMU. He followed that up with a 16 point, six rebound, four assist and five steal effort in Gonzaga's 92-57 victory over Pepperdine.

O'Leary was just as impressive, leading the Gaels to wins over Fresno State University and Santa Clara University, the latter in the WCC opener for SMC. O'Leary averaged 16.0 points and 8.0 rebounds per game, while shooting 52.9 percent from the field and 60 percent from beyond the arc.
