Gonzaga Still 20th In USA Today/ESPN Poll

BRISTOL, Connecticut (Ticker) - Boston College, one of four unbeatens remaining in Division I, moved up eight spots in the latest USA Today/ESPN coaches' poll released Monday.
Off to its best start in school history, Boston College (14-0) moved into the ninth spot in the rankings following Sunday's impressive 73-53 victory at West Virginia.
The three other remaining unbeatens all are in the first five led by top-ranked Illinois (18-0). The Fighting Illini picked up 27 first-place votes and 771 points overall.
Despite battling injuries, Kansas (13-0) still is unbeaten and ranked second. The Jayhawks earned the four remaining first-place votes and 743 points overall.
Wake Forest (15-1), which posted an impressive 95-82 victory over then-No. 4 North Carolina on Saturday, is ranked third.
Duke (13-0), the nation's other unbeaten, is fourth and Oklahoma State (13-1) rounds out the first five.
After having its 14-game winning streak stopped with Saturday's loss, North Carolina (14-2) fell just two spots to sixth.
Syracuse (17-1) is seventh, followed by Kentucky (12-2), Boston College and Washington (15-2), which cracked the top 10 for the first time this season.
Texas (13-3) is 11th, followed by Arizona (14-3), Connecticut (10-3), Louisville (14-3) and Georgia Tech (11-4).
Michigan State (10-3), which squandered a late eight-point lead in Sunday's loss at Big Ten Conference rival Wisconsin, fell four spots to No. 16. Pittsburgh (12-2) is 17th, followed by Cincinnati (14-2), Mississippi State (15-3) and Gonzaga (13-3).
Oklahoma (13-2) moved up four spots to No. 21 and is followed by Alabama (13-3), Wisconsin (12-3), Iowa (13-3) and Marquette (14-2).
Wisconsin and Marquette entered the poll this week while George
Washington and West Virginia fell out of the rankings.
