SPOKANE, Wash. - The University of Portland men's basketball team arrived in Spokane this morning and tonight's West Coast Conference game with Gonzaga University is on as scheduled.

Game time is 5 p.m. at the McCarthey Athletic Center.

The Pilots were unable to arrive in Spokane as scheduled Sunday due to weather conditions at Spokane International Airport. But clear skies this morning made it possible for Portland's flight to land.

Tonight's game will be televised on KAYU-TV Fox 28 in Spokane and on FSN in the five-state region of Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Montana and Alaska. Some schedules indicate the game was to be aired on KHQ-TV in Spokane, but President Bush's State of the Union address to be aired on KHQ necessitated the switch to KAYU-TV Fox 28. Tonight's game can also be heard on 1510 KGA radio and via audio streaming on the Gonzaga website.
