Dickau, Few Among Naismith Finalists

ATLANTA, Ga. - Gonzaga University guard Dan Dickau and head coach Mark Few are mong the 20 finalists for the Naismith Award as the Player and Coach of the Year, respectively, as selected by the Atlanta Tipoff Club.

The Naismith Board of Selectors, which includes some the country's leading basketball coaches, journalists and administrators, began the selection process earlier this year and have reduced the number of finalists by balloting to the top twenty in each cateogry.

The awards program was founded by the Atlanta Tipoff Club, an organization dedicated to recognizing the achievements of excellence of student-athletes and coaches in basketball. The winners will be announced April 5 in Atlanta.
