Sacre Scores 8 Points But West All-Stars Fall 103-99

NEW ORLEANS, La. - Gonzaga University senior center Robert Sacre scored 8 points and grabbed 3 rebounds for the West, but the East scored a 103-99 victory over the West in the Reese's®Division I College All-Star Game Friday night at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome.
Sacre, who started at center for the West, played 20 minutes, went 3-for-6 from the field, 2-for-2 from the free throw line and had an assist and a turnover.
Marquette University's Jae Crowder was named the East All-Stars' Reese's® Perfect Player as he led all scorers with 25 points. Crowder, who had 18 points in the second half, was 9-of-16 from the floor while adding five rebounds, three assists and three steals in the win.
Ramone Moore of Temple University added 15 points and a team-high nine rebounds while John Shurna of Northwestern finished with 12 points. Iona College's Scott Machado had a game-high eight assist go to with his 11 points.
The University of Missouri's Ricardo Ratliffe was named the West All-Stars' Reese's Perfect Player as he led the team with 21 points to go with 10 rebounds. Ratliffe was 7-of-11 from the field. Wendell McKines from New Mexico State University finished with 15 points and a game-high 18 rebounds while UNLV's Chace Stanback had 16 points for the West.
Casper Ware from Long Beach State University had a team-high seven assists to go with his 10 points.
Shurna and Mitchell Watt from the University of Buffalo each had nine points in the first half as the East led 51-45 at the break. Bradford Burgess from VCU and McKines had eight first half points each to lead the West.
The game was part of Final Four festivities where Louisville University meets the University of Kentucky and the University of Kansas faces Ohio State University in Saturday's national semifinals
