BRISTOL, Connecticut (Ticker) - Gonzaga finished 10th in the final USA Today/ESPN coaches' poll, the second time in three seasons the Bulldogs have finished in the Top 10.
Gonzaga was sixth in the final 2004 rankings. The Bulldogs finished 29-4 this season, matching the school record for wins and advancing to the NCAA Sweet Sixteen for the fourth time in eight seasons.
After its stunning run to the Final Four, George Mason went from being unranked to eighth in the final USA Today/ESPN coaches' poll.
Not surprisingly, Florida was ranked first in the poll on Tuesday, one day after winning the national championship.

Final Four team Louisiana State (27-9) finished third, followed by Connecticut (30-4), which was stunned by George Mason in the Washington Region final.
The Patriots (27-8) lost in the Colonial Athletic Association tournament semifinals, but received an at-large bid to the NCAA Tournament and became the first mid-major to reach the Final Four since 1979.
Villanova (28-5), Memphis (33-4), Duke (32-4), George Mason, Texas (30-7) and Gonzaga complete the top 10. The Blue Devils had been ranked first entering the NCAA Tournament.
