Bulldog Players To Sign Autographs; GU-WSU At Arena Dec. 10
SPOKANE, Wash. – Basketball fans will have a chance to meet some of their favorite men’s and women’s basketball players and enter a drawing to win tickets Saturday and Sunday at the Gonzaga University booth at the 25th annual Hoopfest in downtown Spokane.
The Gonzaga booth will be located in Riverfront Park.
Saturday’s autograph schedule will have men’s players Kyle Wiltjer, Connor Griffin and Angel Nunez signing autographs from 10 a.m.-noon, Gary Bell and Kevin Pangos from 1 p.m.-3 p.m. and women’s players Lindsey Sherbert and Keani Albanez available from 4 p.m.-6 p.m.
Sunday’s schedule will include men’s players Ryan Edwards and Przemek Karnowski from 10 a.m.-noon and women’s players Kiara Kudron and Shaniqua Nilles from noon-2 p.m.
Fans visiting the booth can also sign up to win tickets to the Gonzaga-Washington State University game to be played Wednesday, Dec. 10 in the Spokane Veterans Memorial Arena. A public sale of tickets will begin Sept. 12. More information will be released later this summer.
The Bulldogs last played in the Spokane Arena since Nov. 26, 2011, when they defeated Western Michigan 78-58. The Zags and Cougars last met in the downtown Spokane facility Nov. 29, 1999, in a 73-63 Gonzaga victory in Mark Few’s first season as head coach of the Bulldogs.
