Dickau, Hawks On ESPN Wednesday
July 17, 2002 Former Gonzaga University point guard Dan Dickau and his Atlanta Hawks will meet the Milwaukee Bucks at 11 a.m. PST Wednesday (today) on ESPN as part of the Shaw's Pro Summer League in Boston. Dickau, the final pick of the first round of the NBA draft by the Sacramento Kings, was traded to Atlanta later on draft night. Dickau has started both games for the Hawks, scoring 7 points, handing out three assists and grabbing four steals in 27 minutes in his Summer League debut on Monday as the Hawks defeated San Antonio 91-84. The first-team Associated Press All-America selection scored 16 points, had two assists and one steal in 23 minutes Tuesday in Atlanta's 80-78 win over New Jersey, Dickau and the Nets' Richard Jefferson were ejected with 2.9 seconds to go in the third quarter following a scuffle for a loose ball. Former Bulldog Richie Frahm is on the Portland Trail Blazers roster for the Rocky Mountain Revue Summer Pro League in Salt Lake City, UT. Frahm, trying for a free agent contract, was released by the Miami Heat and picked up by the Blazers. Frahm and the Blazers will meet Utah Friday at 4 p.m. PST on ESPN in the opener of the Rocky Mountain Revue.
