KANSAS CITY, Mo. – One current Gonzaga men’s basketball player and a pair of former players, were named to the National Basketball Coaches’ Association (NABC) Honors Court Tuesday. Josh Perkins, Nigel Williams-Goss and Dustin Triano all received the academic honor.

The NABC Honors Court recognizes the talents of gifts that student-athletes possess off the court, and the hard work they exhibit in the classroom. In order to be named to the Honors Court, an athlete must meet a high standard of academic criteria, which includes; was academically a junior or senior in 2016-17, carried a 3.2 or higher grade points average, and must have been at their current NCAA Division I, II, III or NAIA institution for at least one year.

Perkins had a 3.20 GPA last year. The Sport Management major appeared in 38 games last season for the Zags, starting 35. He averaged 8.1 points and 3.1 assists per game. Perkins made 63 three-pointers at nearly 40 percent from behind-the-arc.

Williams-Goss boasted a 3.84 GPA and received a degree in Psychology. For his success off of the court, he was named First Team Academic All-American by CoSIDA. He was also selected as the Men's Scholar Athlete of the Year by the DI-AAA ADA and received the Mike Gilleran Scholar Athlete of the Year honor by the West Coast Conference.

Triano had a 3.25 GPA as a Business Administration major. He played 163 minutes in 54 games with Gonzaga the last three seasons.
